Jim Cannon - Managing Partner

Jim Cannon brings to the table a wealth of experience derived from a diverse career that began as an Entertainer and evolved into executive responsibilities as a Global Project Manager, Director of Operations, Event Producer and now, Corporate Trainer. Combining expert technical skills with creative sensitivity and perspective, he can adapt to almost any work environment and is at his best as a leader of large, diverse teams of people in a fast paced, service oriented environment.

Jim's experience includes managing unique programs such as Brand and Service Transformation at Celebrity Cruises, a progressive Cirque du Soleil project and many Customer Service initiatives for multi-national companies. He has also served as an official cruise industry spokesperson for four national media campaigns.

As a professional trainer, Jim has spent many years working with learners from a broad spectrum. He is comfortable delivering presentations for any size group, one to one thousand. His particular skill is in translating complex technical concepts into terms that make it easy for anyone to follow. A patient trainer, Jim enjoys the "Aha" moment when a participant grasps a concept or technique.

Jim has trained in many National training centers throughout the US. He has taught at Harvard Center for Workplace Development, UCONN's CITI (Connecticut Information Technology Institute), the US Department of Education in Washington DC and in multiple New Horizons training centers in the Northeast. He spent much of 2009 as a Senior Trainer in the UAE for a prominent bank in Abu Dhabi teaching official Microsoft applications curriculum.

Jim is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, a ComptTIA CTT+ Certified Technical Trainer, an Adobe Certified Expert in Flash CS3 Professional and a Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist in Project 2007, Managing Projects. He is a qualified trainer in many of the Official Microsoft and Adobe Certification Curriculum courses. He is an expert at designing and delivering Customer Service, Leadership, Vendor Management and Presentation Skills courses.
